Blue Bay Jazz Festival

Wow. What a fabulous weekend. The Blue Bay Jazz Festival came started in Frederiksted with a first (hopefully annual) festival. We worked at Blue Moon, but we were so right in the middle of the action all weekend... we had such a blast. On Saturday night, Allan decided to close the restaurant for a half hour so we could go watch the opening act. We went out and danced and shouted and reved ourselves up for a busy busy night. The music was fabulous. Then we worked a great shift at Blue Moon with a full staff and it ran super smooth. The band later was also fabulous and it was so packed you couldn't move at all in the restaurant. The picture below was taken while I was cocktailing when Trombone Shorty jumped in with the band and just wailed on his trumbone! Today is Sunday and when I get Ethan out of bed (he deserves to sleep late), we are heading to the beach. Last weekend we poured the wall of the house (so next comes ROOF) and there are some added pictures to the House album which I have linked to in the slideshow below.

The last fun update is the website that I have almost finished for Blue Moon. It is a work related project but one that I am very excited about, so I can show you all my favorite restaurant. Blue Moon Restaurant
